Major THREADS Upgrade is Free and Automatic to Existing Customers
DALLAS, TX December 21, 2015/PRNewswire/ — Securus Technologies, a leading provider of civil and criminal justice technology solutions for public safety, investigation, corrections and monitoring, announced today that it has released THREADS 3.1, the most advanced, fully integrated “Big Data” analytical tool in the U.S. corrections market. The redesign of Securus’ cornerstone Investigative Solutions product upgrades the user interface to the latest web-based technologies, while preserving the same powerful analysis to which our customers have become accustomed. This redesign makes THREADS easier to use and enhances system performance. “We streamlined the user interface, eliminated unnecessary system actions and enhanced navigation, record loading and the search function,” said Kelly Solid, General Manager of Business Management for Securus. “The result is increased performance and improved user experience.” The 3.1 release upgrades the software platform from Silverlight to HTML 5, and allows for direct integration between other Securus products such as Secure Call Platform (SCP). “The easier-to-use interface provides investigators with a more proactive tool to support them in their investigations,” said Solid. “Securus has taken the time to develop a software tool that requires little training and provides highly actionable intelligence and focused leads to the investigator.” THREADS 3.1 includes other key new features such as the ability to listen to SCP calls within the THREADS application, guided real-time analysis, context-sensitive reports and customized mapping and printing. “For years, THREADS has been the gold standard investigative solution for detecting, identifying and reporting on suspicious Incarcerated Individual calling patterns, associations, correlations, communication events and fraternization,” said Solid. “THREADS 3.1 elevates Securus’ solution to the platinum level, and we’re upgrading our existing customers for free.”About Securus Technologies
